In winter 2009, Haider Mullick realized that the basic dilemma of non-military American foreign aid is not its amount, deliverance or usefulness but that most ordinary citizens of recipient countries (such as Pakistan) don't know what they're getting, why they're getting it, and where does it all end up (in plain speak)?
USAIDFORME aims to fill that gap by showing the scope, sequence, amount, and effectiveness of that aid in clear and creative ways (bar charts, multimedia, analysis pieces, etc.) to ordinary 'citizen-recipients.'
The hope is that it will make American acts of generosity verifiable and comprehendible; thus genuinely improving American image and securing lives of Americans abroad (aid workers, entrepreneurs, security trainers, etc.)
